This was our second time staying at The Rex and it was great. We booked the Hugh cabin to have a little more space, a full kitchen and a hot tub. Everything was perfect and comfortable. They even added a cute shop and an outdoor sauna. We always come here in the winter but now we really want to try the summer too. We love hiking so to literally have hundreds of trails right outside your cabin is an amazing thing!! Thank you Joanna for creating this beautiful retreat!! See you soon!!

My stay at the Rex was as close to perfect as you can get. Found this place while doing a quick google search for hotels in Pocono area. Perfect for a couples getaway. Stayed in the Hugh Cabin that came with a private backyard, cedar hotub grill and solo stove. Definitely a great place for a quiet romantic trip. Will definitely be back.

My husband I had a great stay at the Rex! The cabins are adorable and the bed was so comfortable. You can tell they've paid a lot of attention to detail and wanted the place to feel rustic but upscale - mission accomplished! It is pretty close to the road, but they thoughtfully included a sound machine in the room. We took full advantage of the solo stove. We look forward to coming back, and hopefully we'll snag the room with the hot tub!!

The Rex, a nice place to spent time with your family and friends. We stayed there for 2 nights and three days. The first day was beautiful and got settled in. The second day, it rained all day long, but we were able to enjoy the facility. Inside seemed like a luxury cabin with all the high-end appliances. They were very quick to respond to any requests as well. Check-in and out was a breeze. We will definitely be utilizing the Rex again, would have been nice if it was snowing lol.

We had a wonderful experience at the Rex this weekend! Our room was clean, and stocked with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We especially enjoyed the fire pit area - we were expecting it to be a communal fire pit and we were pleasantly surprised to find we had our own to enjoy. The outdoor sauna was a treat! From the store and fire pits to the complimentary snacks and hiking suggestions, it felt like you all thought of everything your guests would need to enjoy a relaxing retreat in nature. We saw a staff member on site both days we were there (I think his name was Sean) - very friendly and helpful!

My wife and I had a great weekend at the Rex. The room was comfortable and well furnished. The bathroom had a heated floor. Firewood was provided and there was a solo stove for us to make a campfire in. The primary reason we chose to stay at The Rex was it's proximity to Promised Land State Park. There is a trailhead on the property which connects to the Boundary Trail. Would recommend.

We booked The Rex Hotel for a wedding weekend for guests to stay and it could not have been better. The Rex is a perfect quaint getaway in the Poconos that had lots to offer. Fire pits scattered throughout the grounds, proximity to hiking trails, an overall “home away from home” feel - it was a perfect gathering spot. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for an outdoorsy and cozy place to stay in the Poconos.

Wonderful summer stay, loved all the features and little touches. Check-in and gift shop/grocery store was no contact which was awesome for the vacation we were looking for. Lots of outside adventures near the area and the rooms were exactly as cute as they make them look on instagram. Bed was comfortable and amenities were exactly what we needed. Trailhead on property was wonderful for a morning stroll.
